Osdd2 gene existed as a single copy gene in the rice genome based on the result of southern blot analysis . we took a pcr method to clone the cdna of osdd2 gene 使用克隆的边端插入序列为探针对水稻(中花11品种)进行southern杂交分析，表明osdd2基因在水稻基因组中是以单拷贝存在。
