And those who now in my time or afterwards live thus , they will become the highest , if they are desirous of learning 无论现在或我入灭以后，若有人精勤修习四念住者，他们将究竟解脱。

As buddha himself was passing away , he prohesied that padmasambhava would be born not long after his death in order to spread the teaching of the tantras 佛陀快要入灭时，曾预言在他涅盘后不久，将有莲花生大士降世弘扬密宗教法。
