| 1. | For this cause the king was angry and very furious , and commanded to destroy all the wise men of babylon

| 5. | Therefore made i a decree to bring in all the wise men of babylon before me , that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream
6所以我降旨召巴比伦的一切哲士到我面前，叫他们把梦的讲解告诉我。 |
| 6. | That they would desire mercies of the god of heaven concerning this secret ; that daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of babylon
18要他们祈求天上的神施怜悯，将这奥秘的事指明，免得但以理和他的同伴与巴比伦其馀的哲士一同灭亡。 |
| 7. | He urged them to plead for mercy from the god of heaven concerning this mystery , so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of babylon

| 8. | Then the king promoted daniel and gave him many great gifts , and he made him ruler over the whole province of babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of babylon
但2 : 48于是王高抬但以理、赏赐他许多上等礼物、派他管理巴比伦全省、又立他为总理、掌管巴比伦的一切哲士。 |
| 9. | Then daniel went to arioch , whom the king had appointed to execute the wise men of babylon , and said to him , " do not execute the wise men of babylon
24于是但以理进去见亚略、就是王所派灭绝巴比伦哲士的、对他说、不要灭绝巴比伦的哲士、求你领我到王面前、我要将梦的讲解告诉王。 |
| 10. | Then the king made daniel great and gave many great gifts to him ; and he made him ruler over the whole province of babylon and chief of the prefects over all the wise men of babylon
48于是王使但以理尊大，赏赐他许多贵重礼物，派他管理巴比伦全省，又立他为总长，掌管巴比伦的一切哲士。 |
