When we heard of it , our hearts melted and everyone ' s courage failed because of you , for the lord your god is god in heaven above and on the earth below 11我们一听见这些事，心就消化了。因你们的缘故，并无一人有胆气。耶和华你们的神本是上天下地的神。

One , if provided with courage , aspiration , and dignity , is capable to pull down all villainy . as there are too many dangers and pullbacks ahead , i present you with this sentence 一个人一旦有了胆气、志气、骨气，就可以压倒一切邪气。前方险阻太多，我用这句话送你。

Now when all the amorite kings west of the jordan and all the canaanite kings along the coast heard how the lord had dried up the jordan before the israelites until we had crossed over , their hearts melted and they no longer had the courage to face the israelites 1约旦河西亚摩利人的诸王和靠海迦南人的诸王，听见耶和华在以色列人前面使约旦河的水干了，等到我们过去，他们的心因以色列人的缘故就消化了，不再有胆气。

Now when all the kings of the amorites , who were beyond the jordan westward , and all the kings of the canaanites , who were by the sea , heard that jehovah had dried up the waters of the jordan before the children of israel until they crossed over , their hearts melted , and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the children of israel 1约但河西亚摩利人的诸王和靠海迦南人的诸王，听见耶和华在以色列人面前使约但河的水干了，直到他们过去，诸王的心因以色列人的缘故就融化了，不再有胆气。
