The donation enables creation of the shum wai yuen journalism education fund and the lee kam woon and shum shuk yuen education fund to encourage outstanding students and journalists to study at the jmsc 岑维休新闻教育基金和利锦桓岑淑婉教育基金的设立，可鼓励优秀的学生和新闻从业员，在新闻及传媒研究中心修读新闻学课程。
