The influence of surface treatment ( surface polish ) on the flashover performance has been investigated with different kinds of alumina ceramics . it was found that the surface roughness could be used as a reference value for evaluating the influence of surface polish to a certain degree . the experimental results show that the samples with a rougher surface ( polished by sic ) have a worse flashover performance 试验发现，在一定程度上，表面粗糙度可以作为一个评价表面研磨处理对材料沿面闪络特性影响的指标，采用碳化硅磨料对氧化铝陶瓷进行处理后，如果材料的表面粗糙度越高，则其沿面闪络电压越低。
