The market used to be a thriving commercial centre humming with business activities . it consisted of three long streets , cheung shing , lee yick and wine streets , all lined with shops of various trades 是昔日元朗其中之一个最繁盛的市集，中间有长盛街，街的两旁设有各行各业的铺户，另有利益街和酒街。
